Coming in July...

Oh my, the UK has been kind to me lately. This cover just in from the wonderful editor of VAMPIRE ROMANCE, the installment to come this summer in 'THE MAMMOTH BOOK OF' series. Even though I don't write about vampires in my Zodiac series, I decided to give that mythos a whirl on my mental dance card, and boy am I glad I did. I had a great time writing 'Remember The Blood' and I can't wait to see it this July ... especially now that I've seen the gorgeous packaging!

Oooh, is this the same book our Rachel (Vincent) is writing for?

Of course your story will be great, but she's got me excited to read hers, too. :)

I nomimated you for a Roar award, Vicki, but not because you put up pretty covers. That's just a bonus.

You have been lucky in the cover departement you know, I mean this is an anthology, so it should be in plural, but still.

CAT - My understanding is that it will come out in North America about a year after the UK release. I agree that it looks interesting, though, and I have a lot of agency-mates whose stories I can't wait to read in it.

RACHEL - Yes, they did a great job! I could actually steal that chick and that setting for my story. It's perfect. I can't wait to read your contribution!

Thanks, RHEA! I had fun with it. I don't think I'll be playing with a full-length novel anytime soon, but the short was a nice change of pace.

CHANDRA and RENEE - I don't even know what a Roar is!

DAYDREAM - I couldn't agree more! I've been v. lucky indeed.

Thanks all for commenting. Tres exciting!

Vicki
