I'm a little late in posting this, but as THE SCENT OF SHADOWS was just released in Australia and the UK, I thought I'd post the UK cover here. Totally different from the one I'm used to associating with it, and an unexpected present from the Voyager team. Thank you all so much! I love it, and there's a slight manga flair in the treatment of the hair and lashes. Olivia Archer and her best friend, Cher, would approve! {G}

Ooooh, squee!! SO cool!
I would enjoy a Signs of the Zodiac manga.
If you poke Joanna's eye and look at the full image, you can see the nifty screentone effect!
Ohh love the cover. It is way awesome.
Hi Vicki,
Well, I was able to buy it in a bookstore here in...July last year, I think. And I actually like the US cover better, so I'm happy *g*
Very cool, like the US one better but the UK version isn't bad!
Sincerely,
Andrea,
Little Photo Girl
I love it! The Brits have done you proud! ;)
Hmm... Now it looks like I'll have to get the UK ones as well...
Ooo! Pretty! Shiny!
I'm a HUGE fan. I was so excited to run across your blog. I love your books!!!
Man, the Uk covers are always so stylish and different from what I encounter. Brits are weirdos and I love them for that. Always edgy.
Oooh, pretty! Not quite as pretty as the US cover, but still cool. {s}
Why'd they go with First Book of the Zodiac instead of First Sign of the Zodiac, though? Just being literal? {g}

Very sweet cover, my friend!

Hi Vicki, I'm so happy for your books success. Cover is great. And how funny that people at the boneyard are looking for your 'portal.' Good news all around. I'm thinking of dumping first bits of Powys and going straight to Gareth's story. What do you think? See you one the boards, hopefully.
Thanks, all! {big ear-to-ear grin}
CHANDRA - I think Manga would be SO much fun, and a natural fit. We'll see.
I'm trying to get a friend to bring a copy over from the UK this week...
LINDER - I think the 'book' vs. 'sign' subtitle may be nothing more than preference/anglicism, and I figure HC/Voyager knows what they're doing so I'm not complaining. Whatever gets more people to pick up the books and enter Jo's world is fine with me!
Hi LYNNE - and thanks! I can't say re. POWYS as it's been so very long since reading any version. Good luck with it, though - your instincts are good!
