THE TOUCH OF TWILIGHT excerpt

I've just received permission to post the first scene from THE TOUCH OF TWILIGHT from the Powers-That-Be. All I had to do was perform a small blood ritual and give up my second-born. Easy-peasy.

What won't I do for you guys? {g}

God, girl. I'd forgotten how damn *good* you are. Way to rock, it!

Would like to gush in detail about each specific amazing line of this excerpt, but that could potentially spoil it for anyone who foolishly reads the comments first.

I hunger for this book like zombies hunger for brains and Joanna hungers for Ben. It is bordering on torture to have to wait until May 27th.

Thank you so much, guys...and thanks for taking the time to read. I'm really excited about this book. I pushed Jo so hard, and now I'm following where that has led. There's no quit in the girl, that's for sure.

You guys are the best!

WOW. What a way to start. Freakin' fabulous, Vic. You are the master and I bow to your perfect prose.

And sorry, but the blood ritual was totally worth it!

So for some reason I was logged into my ancient blogger account from like five years ago that I never used. But "Freedom" is actually me, "FreedomStar" though you could've probably guessed that.

This is fantastic, Vicki.

Wish I had a time machine so I could skip ahead to May 27th to get my hands on a copy.

TWIN-TRAUMA – I wasn’t trying to torture you! I was trying to be nice. {she says with a Very Evil Grin}
CHANDRA AND CAT – If you must eat brains, don’t forget the Chianti. {G}
I’m so glad the rest of you enjoyed it. I gotta say, it was a fun book to write, and I’m interested to see the response to some new characters and …complications. {G}
Best,
Vicki

Wow! That was good. I need to go back reread the short from the Holidays are Hell anthology to remind myself of the mythology.

Look forward to that book when it comes out!

Does Chianti go well with brains dipped in chocolate?
